Animals from a Devon prison farm are to be auctioned off on Tuesday as the jail cuts back on a 200-year-old tradition.

Dartmoor Prison was originally built for French prisoners in 1809 and its farm was started shortly afterwards.
Around 300 cattle and 1,400 sheep are due to go under the hammer, although a small number of cattle will be kept on.
