We often have at least one conversation with a colleague we've been putting off — feedback that needs sharing, a boundary that needs holding, a moment we didn't handle as well as we'd have liked. Tough conversations don't get easier by being avoided. They can get more difficult.

On 8 July 2026 from 6PM - 7:30PM, Women in Criminal Law are hosting a 90-minute online session with Emily Cosgrove, an experienced coach and facilitator, to offer a practical look at three of the most challenging communication situations: delivering feedback that lands well, holding your ground without showing aggression, and staying grounded when conversations become emotionally charged.

We hope the session will assist all of us who work with others, including senior and junior solicitors and barristers, and clerks.  You can expect real scenarios, honest reflection, and tools and techniques you can start to use straight away.

The event is open to members and non-members, but for some will require a small fee.

Please do sign up on the Eventbrite to secure your space. We look forward to seeing you there!!
