[2002] EWHC 179 (Admin)

A trial judge had correctly excluded admissions by the defendants, who were charged with street trading without a licence, where those admissions had been elicited by questions asked before a caution was given by a street enforcement officer even though he had reasonable grounds for suspecting the commission of the offence.
