Weird cases: word stronger than the coffee

In 1879, the district of Bermondsey in south London was used by a judge as benchmark of social insensitivity. Contrasting the district with a very exclusive area, Lord Justice Thesiger said that “what would be a nuisance in Belgrave Square would not necessarily be so in Bermondsey”.
