A police officer's failure to inform a suspect that she was free to leave at any point, having cautioned her at her house for an offence of driving over the limit, did not justify the exclusion of the suspect's answers to questions put to her at her door or her police interview tape, where it was clear that there had been no bad faith on the part of the officer nor any deliberate disregard by him of the PACE codes of practice Code C.
