A reminder that our friends at SAHCA have a conference this Saturday (15th October) which is invaluable for all HCAs, whether SAHCA members or not. We are happy to share the details below, or check the SAHCA website for further detail and updates.
The Ethical Advocate' conference will examine the overarching consideration of ethics relevant to all advocates in, and out of, all courts and tribunals. It will follow fast on the imminent publication of the report on Ethics by the Inns of Court College of Advocacy (formerly the Advocacy Training Council).
It will include speakers on costs - how to make a profit without sacrificing ethics and innovative ways of raising fees for causes such as crowd funding.
Great value for money CPD hours at a great venue with exhibitors including publishers Sweet & Maxwell, Bloomsbury and Oxford University Press offering delegates a massive 20% discount on essential publications such as Archbold, Blackstone's Civil Practice and Blackstone's Criminal Practice 2017.
A list of high quality speakers from a range of disciplines will be there, take a look at the programme below.
