In the circumstances a judge had correctly exercised his judicial discretion to direct a receiver to release funds, subject to a restraint order, to pay the legal expenses of a prospective appeal against a confiscation order, since the release of funds for the prospective appeal was properly within the terms of the restraint order and the statutory scheme under the Drug Trafficking Act 1994 and Criminal Justice Act 1988.
