[2009] EWCA Crim 1132

A community order comprising 18 months' supervision, 100 hours' unpaid work and a six-month curfew imposed on an offender following his guilty pleas to wounding with intent and having an offensive weapon in a public place was unduly lenient. If a person took a knife out into the streets and used it, custody was inevitable.
