A sentence of imprisonment for public protection with a specified minimum term of four-and-a-half years, imposed following conviction for an offence of arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered, was manifestly excessive and was replaced with a sentence of imprisonment for public protection with a specified minimum term of two years.
