[2013] EWCA Crim 1122

A total sentence of 27 months' detention for an 18 year old who had committed six domestic burglaries, possession of cannabis with intent to supply and handling was manifestly excessive where it was his first custodial sentence. Ten months rather than 16 was appropriate for two of the burglaries, which were committed while he was subject to a youth rehabilitation order imposed for the other offences.
