I am concerned at the reports from members of endemic problems with professional visits to prisons throughout the south east region.  I have designed a short and simple survey which anyone can complete.  It is important to show the true picture not only to those at the top of HMPPS but to other parties in the CJS, who are impacted by delays.

The Lord Chancellor talks of ambitious recovery plans but recovery cannot, and should not, happen at the expensive of adequate, timely advice for defendants.  Please share this survey far and wide, it is open to all types of professional visitors.
