[2008] EWCA Crim 1324

An "effective technological measure" within the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 s.296ZF had to be one which prevented or restricted copyright infringement and it was not enough if the measure was a discouragement or general commercial hindrance to copyright infringement.
