[2013] EWCA Crim 1963

A trial judge in a fraud case had not erred in allowing a juror to retire to consider the verdict, rather than discharging him because he was due to go on holiday three days later. The jury had not been put under pressure to return hurried verdicts and the judge had given the matter careful and detailed consideration.
