Where an offender had pleaded guilty to an offence and had given evidence on behalf of a co-defendant, he had no right to invoke legal professional privilege to protect himself from further incrimination in foreign proceedings since the questions put to him in cross-examination were within the scope of his basis of plea and the compulsion to answer questions created no material increase to an existing risk of incrimination.
