There were no arguable grounds to challenge the convictions of a Pakistani national cricket player for conspiracy to accept corrupt payments and conspiracy to cheat. The judge had given jury directions in accordance with judicial practice and the prosecution had only been required to prove that the defendant had intended to enable others to cheat at gambling.
