[2001] EWCA Crim 1433
The Court of Appeal only had jurisdiction to hear an appeal against a sentence passed by the Crown Court where that court had had no power to pass the sentence or the sentence was for six months' imprisonment or more. In this case the Court of Appeal reconstituted itself as a Divisional Court to consider the appellants' appeals.
