R v MICHAEL HUGH GREET (2005)

PUBLISHED February 4, 2005

A judge had not erred in deciding it was appropriate to make a confiscation order against the appellant taking into account the gift to a third party of his half-interest in a matrimonial home. However, the judge had erred in determining the value of the gift by reference to the net equity in the property purchased after sale of the home.
