[2002] EWCA Crim 251

An identification of a suspect at an identification parade was not invalidated because the volunteers wore hats or used make-up or by a witness' request for the removal of a hat. However, if possible the wearing of hats on an identification parade should be avoided where hats had not been worn during the offence.
