The appellant failed to establish that his elder daughter had been to or received counselling called "deliverance ministry" from a religious cult called "Ellel Grange" and that that cult had induced her into believing he had abused her and her sister. Accordingly, his appeal against conviction of sexual offences, on the grounds of various aspects of the judge's conduct of the case and directions to the jury, failed.
