[2013] EWCA Crim 569

When allowing an appeal by the Crown against a Crown Court decision to stay an indictment on the basis of autrefois acquit, the Court of Appeal determined that the scope of a plea of autrefois should be narrowly confined to cases where the offences were the same in fact or law.
