Appeal against convictions for attempted rape, rape and false imprisonment dismissed because counts relating to two complainants were correctly joined on the basis of similar fact evidence and the jury were properly directed. A sentence of life imprisonment with a term specified under s.28 Crime (Sentences) Act 1997 was reduced from nine to seven years.
