Although some disclosure may be required prior to committal, the statutory provisions would be undermined if pre-committal discovery exceeded discovery obtainable after committal pursuant to statute. A reasonable prosecutor should ask himself what, if any, immediate disclosure justice and fairness required him to make in the particular circumstances of the case.
