[2008] EWCA Crim 348

Where an offender had very nearly succeeded in preventing a witness from giving evidence against him in a murder trial by ensuring that the witness was subjected to serious threats over a period of time, a judge had correctly imposed a sentence of 12 years' imprisonment for doing an act or acts tending and intended to pervert the course of justice.
