A sentence of nine years' detention for manslaughter was not manifestly excessive where the offender had been involved in the shortening of the gun used in the killing, had appreciated the state of mind of the person who had actually fired the shots and had assisted in getting the victim to the place where the killing took place, even though he had not fired the shots himself and had not been in the vicinity of the shooting when it took place.
