A sentence of 11 years' imprisonment imposed for a series of professionally planned commercial robberies against security guards was not manifestly excessive where such offending was outside the scope of the sentencing guidelines and the authorities justified a sentence of eight and a half years for less severe offending, and a maximum of 15 years.
