[2005] EWCA Crim 1416
A judge had correctly permitted a defendant to cross-examine a co-defendant in respect of offences for which the co-defendant had yet to be tried, and in an instance yet to be charged, as the evidence met the test of relevance. The offences went to the credibility of the co-defendant, whose evidence about an alleged confession by the defendant was strongly disputed by the defendant.
