[2013] EWHC 64 (Admin)

An order requiring a fine defaulter to repay outstanding fines of over £2,500 at a rate of £5 a week was quashed for being disproportionate, as it would have taken him over 10 years to repay. The court expressed its misgivings about the current system used for the enforcement of outstanding fines in London.
