Prison vote ban 'breaches rights'

Banning prisoners from voting breaches their human rights, a court has ruled.

The judgment by the European Court of Human Rights looks likely to force a change in British law.
A spokesman for the Department for Constitutional Affairs said it will now give "urgent consideration" to reviewing current legislation.
