The Chief Executive of the Law Society, Janet Paraskeva, has confirmed that "The Law Society Council  believes that the current proposals by the Legal Services Commission will inevitably  reduce access to justice and the quality of advice and representation available to legally aided clients. We hope the Commission will radically rethink the scheme."
