Plebgate snooping of press approved in 40 minutes
PUBLISHED July 21, 2015A senior police officer spent “about 40 minutes” considering whether to seize data from journalists’ phones before authorising the surveillance to discover who had leaked details of the Plebgate incident to a newspaper, a court was told yesterday.
