Inspector Ken MacKaill, Detective Sergeant Stuart Hinton and Sergeant Chris Jones, of the Police Federation, were accused of misrepresenting the former Chief Whip, following a meeting in his constituency last October at which he set out his side of the infamous Downing Street row.
