The Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 Pt 5 did not give the High Court of England and Wales jurisdiction to impose property freezing orders or civil recovery orders in respect of property situated outside the United Kingdom. Similarly, the court had no power under Pt 8 to make disclosure orders relating to persons outside the jurisdiction.
