The word "credit" in the context of the Theft Act 1968 s.15A, which set out the ingredients of the offence of obtaining a money transfer by deception, meant credited unconditionally so that where a bank account had a reservation on it pending confirmation that a bank transfer was in order, the account was only credited when the reservation was lifted.
