LCCSA STATEMENT ON AGFS CONSULTATION 
Fiddling with fees is simply the orchestra playing on the deck of a sinking ship .To make matters worse a lifeboat is to be removed from junior advocates to be given to the QC s who will get a rise.
It offends the Levenson principles of rewarding early preparation and creating a sustainable Profession .
Talent leaves or does not enter not because of the fee structure but because fees are inadequate. This is the real issue .
In response to what is essentially a Bar proposal to change the AGFS scheme, Greg Powell, President of the LCCSA said
