PUBLISHED February 16, 2005Both the language and broader context and purpose of the scheme of registration of foreign lawyers showed that under the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 Sch.14 para.2(3) the Law Society only had the power to impose conditions on a foreign lawyer on the initial making of the entry in the register of foreign lawyers.
