In refusing an appeal against a decision ordering an offender's extradition to Poland, the court held that the presence of assessors sitting with the judge at the hearing where the offender had been sentenced in his absence to a longer term of imprisonment than had been agreed with the prosecutor prior to the hearing, had not breached his rights under the European Convention on Human Rights 1950 art.6.
