Too many fear the onset of old age, but if your wits survive the onslaught of the years I perceive at least one huge advantage. I'm not talking about your Freedom Pass, but the far more valuable Get Out of Jail Free card, valid for (almost all) past misdemeanours. Turn 80, and crimes that once would have had you banged up, or disowned by the virtuous, are miraculously transformed into amusing anecdotes.
