The lack of an interpreter in an extradition hearing had not in the circumstances breached the requested person's rights under the European Convention on Human Rights 1950 art.6, as by the time of that hearing it was not clear that he needed one. Moreover, given the weakness of his arguments against his extradition, the presence or absence of an interpreter would have had no bearing on the outcome.
