Making sure your contact numbers for DSCC are correct on bank holidays

Bank holiday requests for legal advice at police stations will stop being directed from the Defence Solicitor Call Centre to your office number from 25 December 2013.

This amendment to the DSCC case management system is the correct position for the vast majority of firms. If it is suitable for you then you do not need to do anything.

If this is not suitable and you want your office number to be used on bank holidays then you need to:

  • log on to DSCC online using your secure user name and password
  • select telephone numbers and tick the 'BH' checkbox next to the office number you want made active
  • save the change and you will then receive both on screen and email confirmation

If you do not already have access to DSCC online then email your request to: dscc.enquiries@ventura-uk.com

Please note the above only applies to 'office' numbers.

All other contact numbers will continue to be tried in the normal way by DSCC and will follow the firm?s chosen operating preferences.
