Digital Evidence: Forged Emails and Unreliable Exhibits

Why printed documentary evidence isn't worth the paper it's written on

We have worked on countless cases where the digital evidence has been served in a less than satisfactory manner and therefore in our webinar, we will explain what to look out for and how this impacts the reliability of the evidence.

Email evidence is presented in many types of criminal and civil matters and is often used as a major plank of evidence to support the opposition's narrative, whether this is due to its contents or attribution.

Our webinar intends to explore the issues that we see with e-mail and document analysis and why they cannot be accepted at face value as a PDF in a jury bundle, and subsequently why we cannot, generally, comment on them in that format.

We plan to delve into how we source the origins of this type of digital evidence and what it means if that information is missing.

As always, there will be a Q&A section at the end of our talk for attendees to expand their knowledge.
