De Freitas rape case: CPS defends decision to prosecute bipolar complainant who killed herself
PUBLISHED December 10, 2014The head of the Crown Prosecution Service has defended the decision to take over a private prosecution of Eleanor de Freitas, who died just days after being charged with making a false rape claim.
