[2004] EWHC 2783 (Admin)

Magistrates were entitled to look at any relevant extraneous material in order to decide if an information was adequately particularised. An alleged lack of particularity in an information was a matter that should usually be raised prior to trial and not in the forum of a submission of no case to answer.
