The refusal to allow an offender to plead guilty, in United Kingdom criminal proceedings, to allegations contained in a European arrest warrant which were of a similar, general nature did not constitute an abuse of process. The two sets of offences were only linked, in generality, by the nature of the offending and the offender's extradition did not therefore offend the rule against double jeopardy.
