Would you like to play a more active role in shaping the future of the LCCSA?

LCCSA Committee Specification

The LCCSA is looking for members who are interested in joining our Committee for 2027, and we have a few places available.

The Committee plays an important role in representing the interests of our members, supporting criminal defence practitioners and helping to shape the work and direction of the Association.

Joining the Committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved, share your ideas and make a meaningful contribution to the criminal defence community.

What does being on the Committee involve?

Committee members contribute to the running and development of the Association, including:

• Representing the interests and concerns of LCCSA members.
• Helping organise training events, lectures and networking opportunities.
• Contributing ideas and initiatives to support criminal defence practitioners.
• Attending Committee meetings and taking part in discussions and decisions about the future of the Association.
• Giving their time, skills and experience to help the LCCSA continue to support its members.

We welcome expressions of interest from members who are enthusiastic about the work of the LCCSA and keen to make a difference. You do not need to have previous Committee experience, just a willingness to get involved and contribute.

Interested in joining us?

If you would like to join the Committee for 2027, or simply find out more about what is involved, we would love to hear from you.

Please email admin@lccsa.org.uk before the AGM on Monday 9 November 2026.
