[2011] EWHC 518 (Admin)

A decision of a magistrates' court not to adjourn a confiscation order enforcement hearing, where the defendant had no legal representation and faced lengthy imprisonment, was unlawful as it was contrary to both common-law principles of natural justice and the European Convention on Human Rights 1950 art.6.
