[2007] EWHC 2983 (Admin)

Appeals against an order for extradition from the United Kingdom to Spain under the Extradition Act 2003 s.21(3) were dismissed where there was no evidence to suggest a lack of trust contrary to the Framework Decision 2002/584 in the Spanish judicial authorities. In addition, the correct meaning of s.2(4)(b) of the Act was that a European arrest warrant was only required to contain particulars of an enforceable judgment on which the warrant was actually based, rather than any enforceable judgment that might have been issued in the past in relation to the relevant offences.
