[2008] EWCA Crim 1466

Convictions for money laundering were safe in circumstances where, although the judge had reached his conclusion by a serious erroneous procedure, that serious irregularity had not affected the verdict. However the sentences were reduced in light of misdirections at the first trial which had led to substantial delay.
