Theresa May: Abu Qatada case shows Human Rights Act 'must be scrapped'

The option of Britain withdrawing from the European Convention on Human Rights should "remain on the table" to prevent another lengthy deportation battle - as seen with terror suspect Abu Qatada - from happening again, Home Secretary Theresa May told the House of Commons.
