The City fare-dodger is no hero – he's dishonest

OK, I confess. I once travelled on a train without paying the fare. In mitigation, the station office was closed, the automatic ticket machine didn't work and when I got to the other end, there was no one to take my money. I got away with it - and felt guilty for weeks afterwards. I even thought of sending a cheque to the train company, but forgot to do so. Mea culpa.
