THE CHIEF CONSTABLE OF THE WEST MIDLANDS POLICE v OSBORNE EUGENE HEAVEN (2000)

PUBLISHED July 27, 2000
SHARE

Chief Constable's appeal against damages for trespass, unlawful arrest and malicious prosecution dismissed because leave to appeal should not have been granted: the verdicts were easily reconcilable with the evidence and counsel's unseemly courtroom behaviour did not damage the trial.
